Asiri Hospitals Limited (AHL) which was incorporated as a public limited company on the 29th September 1980 opened its Out Patients diagnostic services section in May 1984 introducing a number of advanced services available at that time. These services included the first automated medical laboratory, the first Ultra Sound Scanner and a X-Ray system with screening facilities in the private sector and were based on a 365 day 24 hour work system.

In 1987, the 100 bedded Asiri Hospital was commissioned with a fully equipped Operation Theatre suite comprising the latest technology available. AHL was listed in the Stock Exchange on the 25th April 1991 and continued to gain full acceptance of Medical professionals and stakeholders with regard to its services and performance as a business entity.
